Northeast Water Wells provides Down Hole Camera services for troubleshooting down the hole problems. Sometimes a downhole camera is needed to inspect wells that develop problem areas. These may include caving rock, dirty water veins or layers of unconsolidated sediments in the rock formations. Most commonly a Downhole Camera is used to inspect old wells that may have contamination or sediment issues. Over years the regulations have become more strict in regards to sealing casing into the ground, however years ago there were little if any regulations in place. Also many years ago contamination issues were not as much of a concern as they are today. With the increasing population fertilizing there lawns and the increase in road salt use, wells that are possibly 30 years old may have issues today. Typically, it is where the casing meets the bedrock and the joint goes bad(or has been) which is more common in old wells. With capabilities down to 600 feet, we can now have better access to identify what and where the problem is and take appropriate steps to correct the problem. With the option to have the entire borehole recorded on a VCR tape with audio.
